MAPLEWOOD, NJ - St. James's Gate had made it past another round of voting, and is now one of ten finalists vying to be named "NJ's Best Irish Pub" by New Jersey Monthly.
The poll started with 30 New Jersey Irish pubs, and after two weeks of voting, the list has been whittled down to 10 semi-finalists. After this week’s voting, the six bars with the fewest votes will be dropped from contention, and the remaining "Final Four" will meet in the Championship Round, which starts March 21, according to New Jersey Monthly's website.
This week’s round of voting runs until Monday, March 20, at 2 p.m.
St. James's Gate was in ninth place as of Friday, March 17, with Kilkenny House in Cranford in the top spot.
