Stolen Credit Card Used to Purchase Over $16k of Goods Under Investigation by Millburn Police

On November 15, 2017 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to the Bergen County Correctional Facility on a warrant arrest. Brianah Barr, age 25 out of Irvington, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On November 15, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report 20 year old Dajuan Franklin out of Plainfield and 22 year old Summer Ahmed took two pairs of boots valued at $260.00 and left the store without making payment. Mr. Franklin was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of 25 bags of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Franklin was charged with shoplifting, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and released on a summons. Ms. Ahmed was charged with shoplifting and released on a summons.

On November 16, 2017 Millburn Police Lieutenant Ronceray stopped a 2001 Toyota Camry at Whittingham/Millburn for having a taillight out. The investigation led to the arrest of 20 year old Nicholas Grant out of Newark for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (300 grams of marijuana) and possession with intent to distribute. Mr. Grant was released on a summons.

On November 17, 2017 Millburn Police Officers Czupak and Barbosa responded to the Passaic County Correctional Facility on a warrant arrest. Michael Robinson, age 43 out of Newark, was placed under arrest on an outstanding Millburn criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On November 17, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Aliotta stopped a 2012 Volkswagen Passat on Old Short Hills/South Orange for having tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of 24 year old Tyrone Shivers out of Hillside on an outstanding traffic warrant out of Hillside. Mr. Shivers posted bail and was released with a new court date.

On November 18, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Marone responded to headquarters on a theft report. A patron of Panera reports her wallet was stolen from her pocketbook while she ate. The victim states she was advised when cancelling her credit cards that $16,075.62 was already charged at the Short Hills Mall. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 18, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado on Main/Millburn for having tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of the 45 year old driver David Judah out of Mt Vernon for an outstanding traffic warrant out of Newark. Mr. Judah was issued a summons and released with a new court date.

 On November 20, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Recinos responded to the Burberry store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Burberry personnel report a black female wearing a black leather coat, and grey/white jeans and a black male wearing a black hat with white lettering, navy blue coat, and blue jeans together concealed 8 scarfs valued at $3260.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 20, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to the Roselle Police Department on a warrant arrest. Ramone Dismukes, age 27 out of Newark, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On November 21, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Wichelns responded to a Millburn Ave residence on a criminal mischief report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s smashed the rear window of his parked 2006 Ford Explorer. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
