Getting Ready for the First Day of School!

The administrators and summer staff are fully engaged in preparing the schools and schedules to begin the new school year.  On Monday our new teachers and administrators arrive for New Staff Orientation week.  This is a week to acquaint the newest staff members to the programs, culture, and expectations of Millburn.

The finishing touches are taking place on the interior and exterior of the school.  There are only a few painting, tile, blinds and cleaning projects to finish inside so that all of the teacher resources can be brought to the school next week.  On the outside, the sidewalks, basketball court, and landscaping have been scheduled for the weekend and early next week.  We are excited to start the setup of classrooms in preparation for the start of our newest school.

Ed Center

Following the installation of the new roof, the Ed Center experienced a major water infiltration that caused significant water damage in a number of offices.  As a result, the administrative offices had to extend their time relocated at the HS.  We are now in the process of returning some of the staff back to the Ed Center, and possibly other locations around the district until the renovations are complete. Thanks for your patience as we get re-settled.
