TAP into Millburn/ShortHills Seeking High School Student Interns


MILLBURN - Writing for the town paper looks great on college transcripts and right now, TAP into Millburn/Shorthills is interviewing Student Interns. We are looking for bright, inquisitive, energetic and creative interns to fill multiple positions. Schedules and weekly hours are flexible. Student Interns will write on school sporting events and school events. They will also take photos.

Parents watching games are also invited to write for TAP into Millburn/Shorthills. And, those who just like taking photos are invited to submit photos for photo credit as well.

TAP into Millburn/Shorthills will meet with all interns once a month where they will receive a monthly lesson in journalism and be assigned articles. In addition, each article submission will be edited and notes for improvement will be provided for each article.

This is a learning opportunity for interns. They will learn to be become better writers, gain confidence in interviewing people and discover the world of newspaper journalism.
