The Millburn Library Presents its Food for Thought program for Summer 2017

The Millburn Library is pleased to announce its Summer 2017 Food for Thought program. Come join Liz Miller Boose, Adult Program Coordinator, as she takes you on a learning adventure!

All programs are at 2 pm.

On Monday, July 17, Liz will be making and sharing green smoothies. Liz has been making green smoothies for herself for years - and she wouldn't keep doing it if they didn't taste great.

On Monday, August 7, Liz will be presenting several different types of chocolates from around the world to taste and enjoy. Who doesn't love a piece of chocolate? 

On Monday, August 14, the library will present an exotic fruit tasting. Have you ever wondered what that weird-looking fruit in the grocery store was, but then were too afraid to buy it? Now's your chance to learn about current, in-season exotic fruits.

Millburn Pool Closes Doors for 2017 Season

MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn Pool closed its gates for the final time Monday as the 2017 season came to an end. Around 750 patrons and guests visited today for one last swim. This was one of the smoothest seasons since manager John Breheney came to the Millburn Pool in 2013.

Traffic Stops Lead to Multiple Arrests

On September 5, 2017 Millburn Police Lieutenant Ronceray stopped a 2006 Ford Pickup when the owner, 50 year old John Heatter out of Lyndhurst, was found to be driving with a suspended license and for an outstanding traffic warrant out of Clifton. Mr. Heatter was placed under arrest and issued a summons for driving while suspended. Mr. Heatter was released with a new court date.
