SHORT HILLS, NJ – The Parkers are performing at the L4 BlackDoor Presents RahRAhRAH! show which features and showcases talent in Rock, Art and Hip Hop.  The Parkers will open for the headlining rock band, Oak & Ash, who recently opened for Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden in April. The Parkers, a synth-pop-punk trio, will play a high energy set at The Highline Ballroom featuring original music which combines classic rock and punk roots of Led Zeppelin and The Runaways with the more sinister pop sound of Sky Ferreira and Lana Del Rey. Their lyrical content brings out the emotions and astute thoughts from a younger generation with something to say.

Band members include Milburn High School junior Kate Parker-Lentz, her sister Anya Parker-Lentz, an NYU School of Engineering student and Millburn High School alumna as well as drummer, Henry Kane, also an NYU student.  Sisters Anya and Kate Parker-Lentz partnered with drummer Kane to create their grungy pop-punk sound.  The Parkers have played notable festivals and conferences such as CMJ Music Marathon, Launch Music Conference, and Mondo NYC Music Festival and Conference.
