MILLBURN, NJ - The start date for the milling of White Oak Ridge Road has been pushed up to tomorrow, May 18th. The contractor anticipates completing the project prior to Memorial Day Weekend as a result of the new start date. This work will coincide with the milling and paving of Great Hills Road, also scheduled to begin tomorrow. More information will be posted on the Township website and Twitter as it becomes available. All work is weather dependent, and we appreciate your patience during this time.
Essex County has tentatively scheduled the milling and paving of White Oak Ridge Road to begin on May 22, 2017, weather dependent. Smith Sondy is the contractor completing this work on behalf of the County. The milling and paving of White Oak Ridge Road will be between South Orange Avenue and Parsonage Hill Road from 7:00 AM-5:00 PM each day. Parsonage Hill Road between JFK Parkway and White Oak Ridge Road will also be milled and paved during this time.
Milling of the length of roadway is expected to be approximately 3 days, iron work will be approximately 1-2 days and paving will be another 3 days. All work is weather dependent. It should also be noted that portions of this work may coincide with paving being done by the Township on Great Hills Road. Expect delays and/or detours in the area.
