On August 30, 2016 Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to a Ridgewood Road residence on a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered his 2004 Honda Odyssey parked in his driveway and took a computer and bag with various items. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On August 30, 2016 Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to Shoprite on a theft report. Shoprite personnel report the theft of 2 Samsung televisions valued at $999.98 on August 7th and 15th. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 2, 2016 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to the Canoe Brook Country Club on a report of a motor vehicle accident. The investigation led to the arrest of 29 year old David Ospina out of Union City for driving under the influence, reckless driving, and for being unlicensed. Mr. Ospina was released with a court date.

On September 2, 2016 Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to Louis Vuitton on a theft report. Louis Vuitton personnel report a black male wearing pink shorts, blue shirt, and a gray hat concealed 2 pairs of sunglasses valued at $1550.00 in his pocket and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 2, 2016 Millburn Police Officer Crawn stopped a 2005 Toyota Camry as it exited from the mall for being unregistered. The investigation led to the arrest of the driver, 34 year old Patrick Edwards out of NY, NY, and passenger 31 year old Shana Moore out of NY, NY for shoplifting and receiving stolen property when multiple stolen items were observed in the vehicle. Mr. Edwards and Ms. Moore were both released with a court date.

On September 3, 2016 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to Shoprite on an attempted theft report. Shoprite personnel report a black male with a beard wearing glasses and a black sweater attempted to walk out of the store with a box containing 8 bags of shrimp valued at $320.00. The actor was confronted by store personnel and left without the merchandise. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 3, 2016 Millburn Police Officer Crawn responded to the Summit Police Department on a warrant arrest. Tyler Horne, age 31 out of Rahway, was placed under arrest on 2 outstanding Millburn criminal warrants and transported to the Essex County Correctional Facility on default of bail.

“These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.”
