MILLBURN, NJ - The fourth-grade classes at Wyoming School in Millburn hosted a bake sale after school last Friday to raise money for a program called “Bridges Outreach.”
Bridges Outreach helps people who are in need of clothes, food and other items. With more than 2,000 volunteers, they deliver 100,000 brown bags meals,10,000 pairs of socks and undergarments, 7,500 toiletries kits, 49,000 cups of soup, and dozens of clothing items to over 21,000 people in New York City as well as in Newark and Irvington each year.
The money earned from the fourth-graders' bake sale will be used to buy toiletries for this program.
