SHORT HILLS, NJ - The Kapur Brothers of Short Hills are at it again with their mission to collect new and used school supplies for The Akanksha organization, a non-profit organization based in India whose mission is to provide children from low-income communities with a high-quality education, enabling them to maximize their potential and transform their lives.  This is the fourth year the Kapur brothers are helping with the organization.

Newark Academy tenth grader Rohan Kapur and eighth grader Dhruv Kapur will be visiting the schools in India in two different cities -  Rohan in Pune and Dhruv in Mumbai. They will be teaching Math, English, Reading and Sport Fundamentals to the elementary school children.

This year, they have enlisted their youngest brother Hartshorn fourth grader Arjun to help out with the collection efforts. He, too, will continue on with this tradition when he is old enough to volunteer at the schools.

The brothers will leave for India on Friday, June 15. The school supply collection will run until Thursday, June 14th.   If you would like to contribute school supplies or donate towards the purchase of school supplies, please email them at: Akanksha is in need of notebooks, paper, pencils, rulers, crayons, and the like.  New and used supplies are welcomed.
