Outstanding Warrants Lead to Multiple Arrests

On April 17, 2018 at 10:41 pm Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2014 Ford Mustang on Millburn/Glenwood for having no headlights on and dark tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of 41 year old Mark Elliot of Newark on an outstanding traffic warrant out of Newark. Mr. Elliot was issued a summons and released with a new court date. 

On April 19, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2004 Lexus 330 on South Orange/JFK Pkwy for an inoperable headlight. The investigation led to the arrest of 20 year old Andrew Croessmann of Florham Park for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Croessmann was issued a summons and released.

On April 19, 2018 Millburn Police Lieutenant Ronceray stopped a 2015 Dodge Ram on JFK/Parsonage Hills Rd for failing to stop at a stop sign. The investigation led to the arrest of 33 year old Sammy Rojas of Kearny for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Rojas was issued a summons and released.

 On April 19, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Aliotta observed 20 year old Kai Davis of Hillside travelling on Millburn/Vauxhall in a 2007 Ford Taurus without a seatbelt. The investigation led to the arrest of Mr. Davis on an outstanding traffic warrant out of Newark. Mr. Davis was issued a summons and released with a new court date.

On April 20, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to J lot at the mall on a theft report. Dominique Reid, age 23 of Newark, was located and arrested for a theft of an $83.00 pair of pants from Abercrombie. Ms. Reid was issued a summons and released.

On April 21, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 37 year old Andi Zvinca of Hollywood, Fl and 31 year old Mihaela Stancu of Middle Village, NY concealed 10 items totaling $1582.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. Mr. Zvinca was charged with shoplifting, conspiracy, possession of a shoplifting countermeasure, and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility on an outstanding warrant out of Florida. Ms. Stancu was charged with shoplifting and conspiracy and released on a summons.

On April 21, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Nacim responded to Macys on a theft report. Macys personnel report 23 year old Christian Silva-Villacres of Newark concealed $369.64 worth of clothing under his own clothing and left the store without making payment. Luis Ortiz-Giacometti, age 31 of Union, concealed $483.69 worth of clothing under his own clothing and left the store without making payment. Both individuals were placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On April 23, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Recinos responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report 24 year old Michelle Braithwaite of Newark took a coat valued at $195.00 and left the store without making payment. Ms. Braithwaite was located in the parking deck and placed under arrest. Ms. Braithwaite had an additional 2 stolen items valued at $240.00 in her possession. Ms. Braithwaite was charged with shoplifting and receiving stolen property and released on a summons. 

On April 24, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Recinos stopped a 2004 Mini Cooper on South Orange/Old Short for an inoperable light. The investigation led to the arrest of 30 year old Maximilian Bianchi of West Orange for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Bianchi was issued a summons and released.
