Corey Biller to Run for Millburn-Short Hills Township Committee
Longtime Millburn Resident Enters Democratic Primary
(Millburn, NJ) Corey Biller announced the official launch of his campaign seeking the nomination to be the Democratic candidate for the Millburn-Short Hills Township Committee in November’s general election. The primary election to determine the Democratic candidate will be held on June 5, 2018. A resident of Millburn for almost ten years, Biller is a passionate and dedicated community member who considers issues with a common sense, reasoned and collaborative approach.
A licensed attorney in the states of New Jersey and New York and committed resident, Corey is a member of the Millburn-Short Hills Fourth of July Committee, the Board of Trustees of Congregation B’nai Israel, as well as a member of its Leadership Development subcommittee, former member of the Associate Board of The Jericho Project (a nonprofit organization dedicated to rehabilitating homeless men and women in New York City), founder and chair of the Sanofi US North American Legal Department Pro Bono Committee, and his daughters’ Millburn Recreation soccer and softball coach.
Corey is dedicated to making Millburn Township an even better place to live and work by anticipating and proactively addressing Township matters while representing the diverse thoughts and opinions held by fellow residents and community members. As a father of two young girls who are becoming increasingly aware of the real world around them, Corey desires to model behavior that will foster a sense of respectful community and responsible citizenship in his daughters and their generation.
“Millburn-Short Hills has diverse issues from property taxes, traffic concerns, property development, storm preparedness, and education.” Biller added, “Each issue has complexities and perspectives, and I look forward to working with both residents and business owners to find common sense solutions that are in the best interests of the community.”
