Township Seeks Volunteers

MILLBURN, NJ – Get ready to break out your American flags and join together as one community! Back by popular demand, the Millburn Memorial Day Parade will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2019. After a one-year hiatus, this popular Township event will unite local veterans, marching bands, and community groups to honor those who have sacrificed their lives in defense of our nation. The event will also commemorate the American Legion’s 100 year anniversary.

The event is being organized and sponsored by the American Legion Post 140 in coordination with the Township of Millburn and a dedicated committee of volunteers.

Marchers and enthusiastic spectators alike will experience an event to remember. The parade will kick off at Millburn High School at 10:00 a.m. and make its way down Millburn Avenue, culminating at Taylor Park. There, Memorial Day ceremonies will take place at 11:00 a.m. to honor those who serve our country.

The organizing committee is currently seeking volunteers to assist during the event. Community organizations are invited to march in the parade. Plans to rejuvenate this patriotic event are underway, so please consider signing up no later than May 6, 2019.
