The Millburn Free Public Library is pleased to welcome back singer/songwriter Sheri Miller on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 1:00pm for her program, Celebrating Women in Music.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Sheri Miller writes and performs her soulful, Beatles-inspired love songs, while accompanying herself on guitar and piano. To celebrate women, Sheri will sing a wide range of popular classic favorites, sung or written by female artists, from Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, to Patsy Cline and Lady Gaga. Sheri was named one of Music Connection's “Hot 100 Unsigned Artists," Sheri has released 2 records, “Mantra” and “Winning Hand,” as well as her original song ”I Could Love You Still” (feat. Will Lee, Paul Shaffer, Steve Cropper), and others. In addition to writing and performing her own songs, Sheri has collaborated with Grammy Award-winning songwriters including J.D. Souther (Eagles), and is proud and excited to be releasing new recordings from LA, NY and Nashville in 2019.
