We will be discussing Tayari Jones' book Silver Sparrow on Friday, April 21 at 2pm in the Williamsburg Room as part of the Essex County Big Read project, 

Summary: Two families with teenage girls in 1980s Atlanta live very different lives, except for the one thing they share: James Witherspoon, who is married to two different women. One mother and daughter know James's secret. What happens when the other mother and daughter learn of his deception?
