Calling all entrepreneurs!

The Livingston Public Library is presenting a seminar entitled “Franchising 101” about the “nuts and bolts” of franchising, one of the fastest growing industries of the past 2 years.

The presenter is Marisa Rauchway Sverdlov, Livingston resident and owner of the franchise and business law firm Rauchway Law.

She will discuss: 
Purchasing your first franchise
Whether franchising is right for you
The pros and cons of franchising an existing business as a growth strategy
How to franchise an existing business
"Hidden" Franchises

The presentation will be tailored to the interests and background of the attendees, so audience members are encouraged to come with their questions.
Marisa Rauchway Sverdlov has devoted her professional career to serving as a strategic legal advisor and partner to the franchise and business community, handling matters involving tens of thousands to hundreds of millions of dollars. As both a seasoned corporate attorney and litigator, Marisa has years of experience assisting clients navigate legal issues both in and out of court, including countless prospective franchisees, emerging concept franchisors, current single and multi-unit franchise operators, and businesses across a wide range of industries.
Marisa was recently selected by the New Jersey Law Journal as a 2019 "New Leader of the Bar."
