MILLBURN, NJ - Their performance had already been delayed once this summer. But Jersey sound made sure that their rescheduled show would sound great.
The band played classic rock from the 60s on up, in a concert that had been rescheduled from earlier in the summer due to an oppressive and dangerous heatwave. This time, the weather was perfect and the crowd was feeling the tunes.
Before the concert, the Millburn/Short Hills Desi Club held a joint flag-raising and national anthem ceremony in front of the podium, as they were celebrating Indian Independence Day in the Bauer Center next to the concert.
"This makes me so happy," Eglow said. "Tonight is extra special because it's a two for one combo event. We have the Millburn/Short Hills Desi Club, and they presented the American flag and the Indian flag. They sang both anthems and I don't think we could have asked for a more perfect evening for two events."
