MILLBURN, NJ — As an explanatory measure for the single-use plastic ordinance set to take effect in June of this year, Millburn Township will hold a meeting for the business  and general community later this month to discuss the new law.

The information session is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Town Hall. The township is inviting all business and property owners in Millburn to come learn about the Ordinance and ask questions of Township officials and Environmental Commission and Green Team members.

The ordinance was passed in December of last year, and involves a surcharge on other measures on plastic products in town to encourage residents to use reusable bags.
