SHORT HILLS, NJ — As part of Niche.com's annual rankings, Short Hills once again finds itself near the top of the rankings for places to live statewide, coming in at number 11 overall in New Jersey.
Short Hills was ranked highly among the best places to live statewide, coming in just behind New Providence and just ahead of Haddonfield.
The borough received an A+ grade in the good for families and public schools categories, as well as an A- for nightlife, making the three categories its highest grades.
According to Niche.com, The 2020 Best Places to Live ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall livability of an area.
The grade is calculated by taking into account several key factors of a location, including the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area.
