College Readiness Topic of Fourth Installment of 17-18 Parent Wellness Series Apr. 24

SUMMIT, NJ - Licensed psychologist and Certified Master Coach Dr. Joel Ingersoll has a message scrolled on his whiteboard: 'College Admission Does Not Guarantee College Readiness!"

Ingersoll, President and founder of Oradell-based Take On College -- which helps students develop effective high school and college transition and career success skills, and helps their parents become more effective and supportive collaborators -- will lead a presentation designed to help parents maximize their student's pending adjustment to college, thereby giving the young women and men an enhanced opportunity to thrive in their first-semester experience.

The event is the fourth installment of the 2017-18 Parent Wellness Series, offered via the Consortium of Superintendents and Student Assistance Counselors from the Summit, Berkeley Heights, New Providence, Millburn and Chatham Schools, and will be held April 24 in the Auditorium at New Providence High School, beginning at 7 p.m.
