MILLBURN, NJ - September is just around the corner, and right alongside the cool days and lengthening nights is the return of an annual Milburn tradition.

 

Sept. 28 in Taylor Park, The Millburn/Short Hills Education Foundation will hold their fourth annual Rocktoberfest event. This day-long festival features a variety of fun activities for the entire family.

The day will begin with a fun run and STEAM Expo for kids. Following that, over 26 live bands will be playing on two stages in the park. Along with the music scene, there will be inflatable rides and games on-site to entertain the children. Additionally, the newest attractions at this year's Rocktoberfest a tennis tournament and teen lounge.

On the food and drink front, attendees will find tasty food and beverages from local vendors, and the Biergarten makes its return. Beer, wine, and a raw bar are all part of the fun.

When it comes to working out, the fitness zone will run free classes throughout the day while various high school teams play games of volleyball, spikeball, and more.

And for the shopaholics, a merchant zone will be set up for attendees to purchase what they need.

So mark the date and time on the calendar, and get ready for this year's Rocktoberfest.
