MILLBURN, NJ - The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) results are in and Millburn can see how it ranks against other New Jersey schools.  The PARRC is an eight-state consortium along with the District of Columbia, and the Bureau of Indian Education, that assess the K–12 Mathematics and English based on the Common Core State Standards.

In math, Millburn on had 2.4% of students fail to meet expectations. In Geometry, 1% came up short whereas in Algebra II the number jumped to 10.3%. Only two schools had all students meet expectations in Algebra II. 

Grade 9 English/Language Arts 1.3% of students failed to meet expectations. In grade 10 the percentage jumped to 14.3% and in grade 11 22.1%. 

One school had their grade 10 students meet expectations and two schools who achieved the same success in the grade 11 testing.
