MILLBURN, NJ - At the first township committee meeting of September, which will be held tonight, the Millburn Township Committee is scheduled to take on two resolutions. One to help advance a new turf field, and one to help with pedestrian and driver safety in town.
The turf field resolution, officially listed as resolution 19-198 involves the field which will be placed behind scheduled to be placed behind the library in town and will be used by multiple teams once it is refurbished. The process for that field was started earlier this year when the township committee approved the overhaul of the field.
The other resolution, officially listed as Resolution 19-197 has less information available but looks to be straightforward.
In the agenda posted on Millburn Township's website, the resolution appears to be some sort of request by the for the installation of a flashing speed sign on Millburn Avenue, as well as a hold harmless agreement.
Additionally, several other smaller resolutions will be voted on as well. The next township committee meeting after tonight will be Sept. 17.
