MILLBURN, NJ — After being pushed to YouTube and Zoom since mid-March, when the COVID-19 pandemic forced lockdown efforts, the Millburn Township Committee will meet in person for the first time since then next week, when they convene for their regular meeting.
Over the past few months, the township has needed to conduct meetings online, as a way to avaoid breaking social distancing rules in place to stop the spread of COVID-19. With some restrictions being lifted, the meeting of the Millburn Township Committee scheduled for July 14 will be held with a dual in person with possible occupancy limitation and phone meeting, which will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Prior to the meeting, Millburn Town Hall will open beginning at 6:30PM, and all attendees are required to wear a mask and shall maintain appropriate social distance from other attendees while at the meeting.
There may be occupancy limitations as per New Jersey State Law which will be enforced by the township.
Members of the public who wish to participate in the meeting may also do so by calling by phone in to 339-209-5899 at 7:00 pm. Individuals calling into this number will be able to fully participate in the meeting during the appropriate public comment periods.
