MILLBURN, NJ - Fall leaf collection will begin this week in Millburn, according to an announcement from the township website.

The collection will take place across six zones in town for three months, through the month of December.

Fall leaf collection is scheduled for curbside pickup three times per zone from October to December, once per zone per month. Leaf collection zones are the same as your recycling and trash pick up zone. If you need to find your zone, access the Public Works Pamphlet at bit.ly/19publicworks.

Please note that brush, branches, twigs and grass clippings are excluded from leaf pickup. Property owners should not place any leaves within 10 feet of a storm inlet. Be sure to leave room between the curb and leaf pile to allow for effective storm drainage during weather event.  

The Township of Millburn’s Leaf Collection Program operates in accordance with regulations set forth through the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Storm Water Management. There are many benefits to this leaf collection system, including reduced flooding, less street congestion and increased driver visibility.
