Arrest Announced in Millburn Carjacking

MILLBURN, N.J. - Ahmed Anthony, 29, of Newark was arrested on charges stemming from the Millburn carjacking on November 27. 

Anthony is facing charges ranging from first degree carjacking and first degree kidnapping to second degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

Millburn Aids in Major Five-Alarm Early-Morning Summit Ave. Apartment Fire

SUMMIT, NJ - A major residential structure fire at 125 Summit Avenue has caused significant damage to the apartment building, displaced approximately a dozen families, and sent two individuals to Overlook Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. There are no reported injuries to first responders.

The Summit Fire Department received the Alarm Call today at 5:13 a.m.
