MILLBURN, NJ - The following is the Millburn Police Department Blotter from Aug. 6-11, 2019:

On August 6, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Larcom responded to the Sunoco gas station at 500 Millburn Ave on a criminal mischief report. Sunoco personnel report a Pepsi machine was broken into and approximately $50.00 in cash was taken. The actor is a white male with dark hair wearing a white t-shirt. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On August 6, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report that occurred on August 5, 2019. Neiman Marcus personnel report a black male wearing a pink hat, bleached t-shirt, vest, shorts, and pink sneakers took 8 items valued at $3296.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On August 8, 2019, Millburn Police Officer McMillan responded to the East Hanover Police Department on a warrant arrest. Brianah Barr, age 27 of Irvington, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On August 10, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Aliotta stopped a 2015 Honda Accord as it entered the mall for having no front plate. The investigation led to the arrest of 41-year-old Miguel Baez of Elizabeth for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Passenger Miriam Gerges, age 25 of Livingston, was placed under arrest on an outstanding traffic warrant out of Oradell. Mr. Baez was issued a summons and released. Ms. Gerges was released with a new court date.

On August 10, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Marone responded to the Christian Louboutin store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Christian Louboutin personnel report 40-year-old Jermaine Cousins of Garfield, OH and 36-year-old Janise Hines of South Euclid, OH concealed 2 handbags valued at $2780.00 into a white bag and left the store without making payment. Both individuals were placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On August 10, 2019, Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to Macy's on a theft report. Macy's personnel report 58-year-old Reinaldo Morales of Irvington concealed $837.26 worth of merchandise in a bag and left the store without making payment. Mr. Morales was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting and defiant trespassing before being remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On August 10, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2004 Nissan Altima on Rt 24 West near the mall for an inoperable brake light. The investigation led to the arrest of 33-year-old Wrayan Thomas of Elizabeth for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Thomas was issued a summons and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility on an outstanding Newark traffic warrant.

On August 11, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2007 Toyota Corolla on Rt 24 West/Chatham line for having no working brake lights. The investigation led to the arrest of 26-year-old Summer Knouse of Newark for possession of a hypodermic needle and an outstanding warrant from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office. Ms. Knouse was issued a summons and turned over to the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Department.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
