MILLBURN, NJ — The following is the Millburn Police Department Blotter from Dec. 31 to Jan. 7:

On December 31, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Mackage store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Mackage personnel report a black male wearing all grey and carrying a brown shopping bag concealed a scarf valued at $140.00 in the bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 31, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2005 Dodge Dakota on Rt 124/Broad for having no front plate and not using headlights. The investigation led to the arrest of 26 year old Felix Changa of Paterson for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Changa was issued a summons and released.

On December 31, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to Walgreens on a theft report. Walgreens personnel report 36 year old Edil Hernandez-Torres of Newark concealed 11 items valued at $685.84 in a bag and left the store without making payment. Mr. Hernandez-Torres was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of a crack pipe. Mr. Hernandez-Torres was charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia and released on a summons.

On January 1, 2020 Millburn Police Officer Beyer responded to the mall on a burglary to motor vehicle report that occurred the day before. The victim states an unknown actor/s entered her 2014 Subaru Forester taking her purse containing her cell phone, identification, and credit card. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 2, 2020 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report 22 year old Imani Glover of Newark took 2 handbags valued at $926.00 and left the store without making payment. Ms. Glover was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) before being released on a summons.

On January 3, 2020 Millburn Police Lieutenant Ronceray stopped a 2016 Jeep for an inoperable headlight on Ridgewood/Parkview. The investigation led to the arrest of 19 year old Caroline Pianim and 19 year old Yasin Baker both of Union for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Both individuals were issued a summons and released.

On January 4, 2020 at approximately 1:44 am Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2013 Honda Accord on Rt 124/Farley for driving without any lights. The investigation led to the arrest of 36 year old Meagan Kilcommons of Nutley for driving under the influence. Ms. Kilcommons was issued a summons and released.

On January 4, 2020 Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to Spring/Willow on a vehicle fire. Upon his arrival an unoccupied 2017 Maserati LVT was fully engulfed. The occupants of the vehicle had reportedly been involved in an attempted armed robbery in Maplewood earlier. Millburn Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
