MILLBURN, NJ - The Following is the Police Blotter from July 3 Through July 9:

On July 3, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2003 Mercury Sable on Millburn/Vauxhall for making an improper right turn. The investigation led to the arrest of 31-year-old Tyshawn Cofield of Elizabeth for driving under the influence. Mr. Cofield was issued a summons and released.

On July 4, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Czupak responded to the Louis Vuitton store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Louis Vuitton personnel report 40-year-old Sajaan Tannous of Israel concealed a belt valued at $750.00 on his waist and left the store without making payment. Mr. Tannous was placed under arrest and issued a summons before being released.

On July 4, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to the intersection of Hobart Gap/West Rd on a report of a motor vehicle accident. The investigation led to the arrest of 55 year old Warren Hunter of Elizabeth for driving under the influence. Mr. Hunter was issued a summons and released.

On July 5, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to the Salvatore Ferragamo store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Salvatore Ferragamo personnel report a black male wearing a black hat, bright blue shirt, and jean shorts concealed a belt valued at $450.00 under his shirt and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 5, 2019 Millburn Police Officer McMillan stopped a 2002 Jeep Wrangler on Old Short/Haddonfield for failing to drive in the southbound lane. The investigation led to the arrest of 18 year old Tyler Gaskill of Livingston for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Gaskill was issued a summons and released.

On July 6, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to the AT&T store on Rt 124 on a report of a robbery. AT&T personnel report 3 black males entered the store, with the following clothing descriptions: 1 male wearing a black hat, white t-shirt and sunglasses, 2 males with dread locks wearing tank tops and jean shorts. The three males took 3 iPhones and 2 Apple watches valued at $3849.95, pushed an employee out of the way and ran from the store. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 6, 2019 Millburn Police responded to 2 reports of burglaries to motor vehicles that occurred at the Canoe Brook Country Club. Both residents report credit cards were taken from the parked vehicles and attempted to be used at various locations. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 6, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to Undercliff/Southern Slope on a report of a motor vehicle crash into a tree. The investigation led to the arrest of 61 year old Timothy Craig of Maplewood for driving under the influence. Mr. Craig was issued a summons and released.

On July 8, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Marone responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report a black male wearing a white hat, black sweatshirt, and jeans along with a black female wearing a grey tank top and black shorts cut the security wires on 4 purses valued at $6760.00 and ran from the store with the proceeds. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
