On September 17, 2019, Millburn Police responded to reports of motor vehicle burglaries overnight on Mechanic Street, Spring Street, Western Drive, Mountainview Road, and Slope Drive. A 2013 Lincoln MKS on Mechanic St. was entered and a wallet taken.  A 2013 Chevrolet Suburban was entered on Spring St. and 2 Samsung phones and 2 phone chargers were taken. A 2013 Mercedes Benz C30 was entered on Slope Dr. and 2 pairs of sunglasses were taken. A 2018 Dodge Ram on Slope Dr. was entered and a pair of Apple ear buds were taken. A 2010 Volkswagen GTI was taken from a Slope Dr. driveway. The other vehicles entered were a 2010 Honda Accord, 2013 Audi Q7, a 2019 Honda CRV, and a 2013 Ford Explorer. Nothing was missing from these vehicles. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 18, 2019, Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to a report of a motor vehicle burglary on Main St. The resident reports sometime overnight an unknown actor/s entered her 2011 Hyundai Sonata and rummaged through the glove compartment. Nothing appeared to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 18, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to the Salvatore Ferragamo store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Salvatore Ferragamo personnel report a black female wearing a green/blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and flip flops took 4 handbags valued at $8320.00 and ran out of the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 18, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Marone responded to the mall on a theft report. A UPS driver making a delivery to Apple reports the theft of 3 boxes containing 34 IPhone 11S from his hand truck valued at $25,369.00. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 18, 2019, Millburn Police responded to 2 motor vehicle burglaries at the Canoe Brook Country Club that occurred between 1:00-4:00 pm. A 2019 Acura RDX was entered and several credit cards were taken. A 2008 Suzuki XL7 was also entered and credit cards were taken. Both incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 18, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 33 year old Majeedah Rogers of Irvington concealed 1 item in a shopping bag and returned 2 items taken from a display with a total value of $126.00. Ms. Rogers was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting and theft by deception before being released on a summons.

On September 19, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Hay responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report a black female wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black leggings took 4 handbags valued at $1222.00 and ran from the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 19, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to the apartments at 149 Main St on a burglary to a storage unit. The resident reports between June 1, 2019 and September 19, 2019 unknown actor/s broke the lock off his storage unit in the basement taking his mountain bicycle valued at $1000.00, and a bottle of vodka. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 20, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to the Footlocker store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Footlocker personnel report 30 year old Kashima Mcintosh of the Bronx, 30 year old Christina Peart of the Bronx, and 30 year old Supporia Osorio of NY, NY concealed $500 worth of merchandise and left the store without making payment. All 3 individuals were placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On September 20, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Royce responded to the Vineyard Vines store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Vineyard Vines personnel report a white female with dark hair wearing a black shirt, green pants, and carrying a Bloomingdales bag took a shirt and jacket valued at $246.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On September 21, 2019, Millburn Police Lieutenant Ronceray stopped a 2007 Saturn Ion when the driver was observed not wearing a seatbelt. The investigation led to the arrest of the 22 year old passenger Shadaia Leach-Smith of Irvington for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Leach-Smith was issued a summons and released.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
