MILLBURN, NJ - The following is the Millburn Police Blotter for the final week of June:

On June 27, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Lipke responded to a Country Day Drive residence on a burglary report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered his garage and took his 2017 Mercedes Benz GLE. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 27, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Catinella responded to a Dorset Lane residence on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered his 2007 Audi A4 taking a backpack containing a laptop, and a gym bag. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 27, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Larcom responded to the Salvatore Ferragamo store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Salvatore Ferragamo personnel report a black male wearing a black hat, grey sweatshirt, blue jeans, and sneakers took 3 purses valued at $6790.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 28, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Larcom responded to the Hudson County Correctional Facility on a warrant arrest. Iman Barnes, age 31 of Newark, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On June 28, 2019, Millburn Police Detectives Delgado and Rebelo responded to Elizabeth and located the 2017 Mercedes Benz GLE stolen from Country Day Drive parked on Adams Ave. The vehicle was occupied by Brazhon Lewer, age 19 of Haddon Heights, Cristopher Colon, age 19 of Elizabeth, and Benjamin Balisage, age 20 of Roselle Park. All 3 individuals were placed under arrest and charged with receiving stolen property, theft, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On June 28, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 19-year-old Layla Hunter of Clarksburg, MD concealed 2 items valued at $51.00 in her purse and leave the store without making payment. Ms. Hunter was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
