MILLBURN, NJ - The folloiwng is the police department blotter from Oct. 29 to Nov. 5, 2019:

On October 29, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Aliotta stopped a 2006 Ford Explorer on Rt 24 West/Summit Ave for having no front plate. The investigation led to the arrest of 27 year old Kenyun Brown of Budd Lake for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Brown was issued a summons and released.

On October 30, 2019 Millburn Police Officers Royce and Aliotta responded to the Linden Police Department on a warrant arrest. Quasean Nixon, age 28 of Newark, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On October 30, 2019 East Orange Police dropped off 25 year old Kharis Salaam of East Orange on an outstanding criminal Millburn warrant. Mr. Salaam was remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On November 2, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lipke responded to the Union Police Department on a warrant arrest. Ignacio Chiozza-Reggio, age 21 of Union, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On November 2, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 21 year old Yuqin He of Madison concealed 2 items valued at $71.00 up her sleeve and left the store without making payment. Ms. He was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On November 4, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Catinella responded to a Millburn Ave residence on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered her 2015 Nissan Sentra taking 2 handbags and a wallet containing credit cards. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 4, 2019 Millburn Police responded to multiple reports of motor vehicle burglaries on Reeves Circle. A 2017 Subaru Forester was entered and $5.00 in change was taken. A 2011 Audi Q7 was entered and $25.00 in cash was taken. A 2012 Subaru Legacy was entered and a pair of opera glasses valued at $150.00 was taken. A 2018 Toyota Prius, 2000 Honda Accord, and 1993 Nissan Altima were also entered with nothing reported missing. All the incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 5, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Marone responded to a Rector St residence on a report of 2 motor vehicle thefts. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s took a 2018 Jeep Cherokee from the driveway, and a 2018 Lexus LX from the garage. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 5, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo responded to a Church St residence on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered her 2019 Nissan Pathfinder, however nothing was taken. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
