MILLBURN, NJ - The followignis the Millburn Police Blotter. All information is displayed as received directly from the police:

On August 27, 2019, Millburn Police responded to a residential burglary report on Woodcrest Ave. The resident reports sometime between 7:30 am and 3:45 pm unknown actor/s entered the residence after cutting through a screen on a back window. The resident reports a passport was taken. While processing the house, a report from a resident on Farley Rd reports he just confronted 2 individuals, later identified as 21-year-old Christian Niles of Short Hills and 18-year-old Amanda Peterson of Short Hills, burglarizing his residence. Detective Delgado located both individuals, and after a brief foot pursuit placed Christian Niles under arrest. Millburn Police Officer Lanni placed Amanda Peterson under arrest. Mr. Niles was found to have the proceeds from the Woodcrest Ave burglary in his pocket, as well as proceeds from the Farley Rd burglary (jewelry, prescriptions, and clothing). Both individuals were charged with burglary and theft and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On August 27, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to Macy's on a theft report. Macy's personnel report 45-year-old Abdul Muhammad of Plainfield concealed 5 items valued at $396.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. Mr. Muhammad was placed under arrest and charged with theft before being released on a summons.

On August 28, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Hay responded to a residential burglary report on Delbarton Dr. The property manager reports between August 21-27, 2019 unknown actor/s took 6 radiators and 2 air conditioning condensers with a total value of $15,000.00 from the residence under construction. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On August 28, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 35-year-old Kimesha Knight of Orange concealed 3 items valued at $56.00 in a shopping bag and left the store without making payment. Ms. Knight was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On August 30, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdale's personnel report 48-year-old Samuel Beckett of Irvington concealed 2 belts valued at $790.00 in his pants and attempted to leave the store. Mr. Beckett was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On September 2, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to Macy's on a theft report. Macy's personnel report 58-year-old Reinaldo Morales of Irvington concealed 30 items valued at $599.00 in a shopping bag and left the store without making payment. Mr. Morales was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting and trespassing and released on a summons.

On September 2, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Marone responded to the Sunglass Hut store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sunglass Hut personnel report a white male wearing a black Nike t-shirt and grey sweat pants concealed a pair of sunglasses valued at $505.00 in his pocket and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
