MILLBURN, NJ - On April 2, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Nacim responded to the Irvington Police Department on a warrant arrest. Lionel Sampson, age 37 of Newark, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

Also on April 2, 201,9 Millburn Police Officer McMillan responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 38 year old Vivian Ponguta of Elizabeth concealed 3 items valued at $62.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. Ms. Ponguta was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

Furthermore, on April 2, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Catinella responded to the Sunglass Hut store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sunglass Hut personnel report a black male with a long beard wearing a blue cap, camouflage Northface jacket, blue jeans, and blue sneakers concealed a pair of Gucci sunglasses valued at $420.00 in his jacket and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

And also on April 2, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to Bloomingdales on an employee theft. Bloomingdales personnel report 20 year old Angelo Egoavil of Elizabeth concealed 7 items valued at $987.00 in his backpack and attempted to leave the store without making payment. Mr. Egoavil was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On April 5, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Seebohm responded to the Louis Vuitton store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Louis Vuitton personnel report a Hispanic male wearing a red/black jacket and headband concealed 2 belts valued at $1600.00 under his jacket and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On April 6, 2019, Millburn Police Officers Seebohm and Barbosa responded to the Caldwell Police Department on a warrant arrest. Laura Godlesky, age 26 of Caldwell, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

Also on April 6, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 60 year old Joyce Pei of Millington concealed 5 items in her coat valued at $226.05 and left the store without making payment. Ms. Pei was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

And on April 8, 2019, Millburn Police Officer McMillan responded to the mall on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The victim reports between 2:40-3:40 pm unknown actor/s entered her 2009 Mercedes Benz 350 and took 3 pairs of sunglasses, 1 dress, and 1 shirt for a total value of $1806.00. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
