MILLBURN, NJ - The following is the Millburn Police Blotter from July 17-23:

On July 17, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Beyer responded to the Woodland Rd apartments on a burglary report. The resident reports between July 1-17, 2019 unknown actor/s entered his basement storage area forcibly removing the lock and taking a bicycle, car seat, and suitcase with a total value of $900.00. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 18, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Louis Vuitton store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Louis Vuitton personnel report a black male in his 30’s wearing a black t-shirt, khaki shorts, and white sneakers concealed a bag valued at $1620.00 around his waist and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 19, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban on Evergreen/Locust after it made an improper turn on Millburn Ave. The investigation led to the arrest of 40-year-old Reginald Richardson of Newark for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Richardson was issued a summons and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility on an outstanding criminal warrant.

On July 20, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Larcom responded to the 300 block of Millburn Ave on a motor vehicle theft report. The victim reports a black male wearing a white t-shirt and carrying a box took his 2015 Jeep Cherokee at approximately 8:14 am. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 20, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report that occurred on July 19, 2019. Sephora personnel report a Hispanic female in her 20’s wearing a striped sleeveless shirt, jean shorts, with a tattoo on her collarbone along with a Hispanic female in her 20’s wearing a white t-shirt, pajama pants, and carrying a purse together concealed $1437.00 worth of merchandise and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 22, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to the apartments at 206 Main St on a theft report. The resident reports sometime between July 6-7, 2019 unknown actor/s took her package from the lobby valued at $12.66 that had been delivered by Amazon.  The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 23, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Laverty responded to a Maple St residence on a burglary to auto report. The victim reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered her 2018 Mercedes Benz taking a backpack containing a laptop, credit cards, and $200.00 cash. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
