MILLBURN, NJ — The following is the Millburn Police Blotter for Nov. 26-Dec. 2, 2019:

On November 26, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Czupak responded to the Sunglass Hut store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report that occurred on November 25, 2019. Sunglass Hut personnel report a black female wearing all black and carrying a pink handbag concealed a pair of Gucci sunglasses valued at $1015.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 26, 2019 Millburn Police Officer McMillan responded to Supercuts on Morris Tpk on a theft report. An employee reports the theft of his jacket which contained his wallet, credit cards, identification, keys, and $50.00 cash. The actor is described as a dark skinned Hispanic male approximately 6’ tall weighing 350 lbs. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 27, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to a Byron Rd residence on a residential burglary report. The resident reports between 4:20-6:30 pm unknown actor/s broke a rear glass window and ransacked a bedroom. Nothing appeared to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 27, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to Bloomingdales on a credit card fraud report. Bloomingdales personnel report a black male wearing a black Yankees hat, black jacket, black pants and blue jeans accompanied by a black female with a shaved head, black jacket, multi colored pants, and beige boots purchased $1990.00 with a stolen credit card. The couple attempted to make another purchase, however fled after being asked for additional identification. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 29, 2019 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report 20 year old Kaia Battle took 2 coats valued at $1645.00 and ran from the store without making payment. Diamond Vaughn, age 20 of Brooklyn, took one jacket valued at $950.00 and ran from the store without making payment. Ms. Battle and Vaughn were placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On November 29, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to the Louis Vuitton store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Louis Vuitton personnel report a white male wearing a black Puma hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers took a hat valued at $515.00 and wore it out of the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 29, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2010 Nissan Sentra at the mall for an inoperable light and unclear plates. The investigation led to the arrest of 49 year old Caasi Selby of Newark for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin) and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Selby was issued a summons and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility on an outstanding criminal warrant.

On November 30, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report 33 year old Shakeya Witherspoon of Brooklyn concealed a coat valued at $695.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. Ms. Witherspoon was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On November 30, 2019 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 21 year old Whitney Xu of Madison concealed 7 items valued at $247.00 in her purse and shopping bag and left the store without making payment. Ms. Xu was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On November 30, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2001 Audi A8 on Millburn/Locust for an inoperable headlight. The investigation led to the arrest of 36 year old Cyrus Richardson-Wright for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana), possession with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Richardson-Wright was issued a summons and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility on outstanding traffic warrants.

On November 30, 2019 Millburn Police Lieutenant Ronceray stopped a 2007 Lexus IS2 on Rt 24 West for operating with a suspended registration. The investigation led to the arrest of 26 year old Freudhenr Jean-Jacques of Newark for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Jean-Jacques was issued a summons and released.

On December 1, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to a Hemlock Rd residence on a burglary to motor vehicles report. The resident reports a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, 2018 BMW M55, and a 2019 BMW X5 were entered overnight in the driveway. A first aid kit, ropes, and change were taken. The resident reports on November 28, 2019 unknown actor/s attempted to enter a 2016 Volkswagen GTI in the driveway, however it was locked. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 2, 2019 Millburn Police Officers Barbosa and Royce responded to the East Orange Police Department on a warrant arrest. Courtney Emanuel, age 22 of East Orange, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

 These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
