MILLBURN, NJ - The following is the Millburn Police Blotter from March 3-March 9, 2020:

On March 3, 2020 Millburn Police Officer Nacim responded to Sunglass Hut at The Mall at Short Hills for a report of a theft.  Sunglass Hut associates reported that a Hispanic male, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black pants, selected a pair of Gucci sunglasses and concealed them.  He then left the store without making payment.  This incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.       

On March 5, 2020 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2018 Honda Clarity for speeding 100 mph in a 65 mph zone on Route 78 westbound near route 24.   The investigation led to the arrest of Nadiyyah Muhammad, age 41, of South Orange, NJ for driving while intoxicated. Muhammad was subsequently issued summonses and later released.

On March 6, 2020 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to Louis Vuitton at The Mall at Short Hills for a report of a theft.  Louis Vuitton associates reported that a white male, approx. 50 years old, wearing a dark shirt and jeans, and a white female, approx. 40 years old wearing black scarf and khaki overcoat, each selected a wallet and concealed it.  They then left the store without making payment, total value of the theft was $2440.00.  This incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.       

On March 6, 2020, shortly after the Louis Vuitton theft, Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to Neiman Marcus at The Mall at Short Hills for a report of a theft.  Neiman Marcus associates reported that the same suspects from Louis Vuitton selected a wallet and concealed it.  They then left the store without making payment, total value of the theft was $950.00.  This incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau

On March 7, 2020 Millburn Police Officer Larcom responded to Sunglass Hut at The Mall at Short Hills for a report of a theft in progress.  Sunglass Hut associates reported that male identified as Terrel Stanley, age 39 of Staten Island, NY selected a pair of Burberry sunglasses and concealed them.  He then left the store without making payment.  Stanley was placed under arrest for shoplifting, issued a summons and later released. 

On March 7, 2020 Millburn Police Officer Crawn stopped a 2018 Nissan Rogue for speeding and failure to maintain lanes on Highland Avenue near Forest Drive.   The investigation led to the arrest of Ricardo Pavoni, age 56, of Roseland, NJ for driving while intoxicated. Pavoni was subsequently issued summonses and later released.

On March 9, 2020 Millburn Police Officer Nacim responded to Bloomingdales at The Mall at Short Hills for a report of a theft.  Bloomingdales associates reported that female identified as Amy Alter, age 49 of Livingston, NJ selected several articles of clothing and concealed them.  She then left the store without making payment.  Alter was placed under arrest for shoplifting, issued a summons and later released. 

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
