MILLBURN, NJ - The following is the Millburn Police Department Blotter from November 19-26:

On November 19, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 30 year old Riddhi Patel of Sayreville concealed 3 items valued at $105.00 in her jacket pocket and left the store without making payment. Ms. Patel was also found to be in possession of $374.00 worth of stolen property from Macys. Ms. Patel was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

 On November 21, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Manuyag stopped a 2012 Mazda 3 for failing to keep right on Rt 24 East as well as driving partially on the grass median. The investigation led to the arrest of 29 year old Ryan Angus of Roselle Park for driving under the influence. Mr. Angus was issued a summons and released.

On November 21, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report 53 year old Floyd Somerville of the Bronx took 2 coats valued at $2500.00 concealed in a shopping bag and attempted to leave the store without making payment. Mr. Somerville was stopped by Bloomingdales loss prevention, pushed the employee out of the way and left the store. Mr. Somerville was stopped and arrested by Officer O’Neill. Martyna Bush, age 36 of Queens, who had concealed the merchandise and handed it to Mr. Somerville, was stopped by Florham Park PD on Rt 24 and placed under arrest. Both individuals were charged with robbery and conspiracy and released on a summons.

On November 22, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to the Lacoste store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Lacoste personnel report a black male approximately 5’11” with dreadlocks wearing a red/blue camouflage hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants concealed a jacket valued at $145.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 22, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to Bloomingdales on a fraud report. Bloomingdales personnel report a black male wearing a hooded camouflage jacket and blue jeans used a fraudulently opened credit card to purchase $410.00 worth of merchandise. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 23, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to Neiman Marcus on a report of a robbery. Neiman Marcus personnel report 35 year old Gerald Mallory Jr. of Jersey City attempted to leave the store with a $275.00 skully without making payment. Shauna Joseph, age 28 of Jersey City, attempted to leave the store with a  handbag valued at $398.00 without making payment. Both individuals began to fight with Neiman Marcus loss prevention and eventually fled in a 2005 Lincoln Navigator. Officer Royce stopped the vehicle on Rt 24 East and both individuals were placed under arrest and charged with robbery. Ms. Joseph was charged additionally with resisting arrest and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and paraphernalia. Both individuals were released on a summons.

On November 23, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Beyer responded to a Lee Terr residence on a burglary report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s removed the motion sensor spotlights above the patio doors and smashed the sliding glass door. No entry was gained. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 24, 2019 at 11:18 pm Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2019 Dodge Charger on Rt 24 West/Hobart Gap for driving without headlights. The investigation led to the arrest of 37 year old Darrell Davis of Irvington for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and paraphernalia. Mr. Davis was issued a summons and released.

On November 25, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce responded to the Bedminster Police Department on a warrant arrest. Galvin Lamour, age 21 of Maplewood, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On November 26, 2019 Millburn Police Officers Wichelns and Manuyag responded to the Union County Correctional Facility on a warrant arrest. Jesse Odom Jr, age 39 of Irvington, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

 These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
