On Feb. 21, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Salemi responded to the Newark Police Department on a warrant arrest. Paul Discepolo Jr, age 26 of Garwood, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On Feb. 22, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Apple store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Apple personnel report a black male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, approximately 5’8” in his early 20’s took an iPhone XR valued at $749.00 from a display table and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On Feb. 23, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Seebohm responded to Nordstroms on a theft report. Nordstrom personnel report 18-year-old employee Jessie Sims of Boonton took $1750.00 in cash from the store between February 5-23, 2019. Ms. Sims was placed under arrest and charged with theft before being released on a summons.

On Feb. 23, 2019, Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 19-year-old Yasmin Nazhat of Maplewood and 19-year-old Allison Pearsall of Maplewood took a total of $324.00 worth of merchandise and left the store without making payment. Both individuals were placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On Feb. 23, 2019, Millburn Police Officers Royce and Aliotta responded to the Passaic County Correctional Facility on a warrant arrest. Rafael Mora-Reynoso, age 28 of Clifton, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On Feb. 23, 2019, Millburn Police Officers Seebohm and Barbosa stopped a 2007 Jeep Wrangler on Rt 124/Millburn Ave for traveling eastbound in a westbound lane. The investigation led to the arrest of 51-year-old Darryl Dye of Union for driving under the influence. Mr. Dye was issued a summons and released.

And on Feb. 26, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Czupak responded to CVS at 187 Millburn Ave on a theft report. CVS personnel report two individuals, later identified as 31-year-old Adel Ahmed of Belleville and 35-year-old Matej Miskovic of East Brunswick took 64 items from the store valued at $596.68 without making payment. Both individuals were located at the bus stop at the Millburn/Maplewood line and placed under arrest. Mr. Miskovic was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Both individuals were released on a summons.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
