On January 15, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt on Wyoming/Glen for having no passenger mirror. The investigation led to the arrest of 25 year old Christopher Vicente of Union for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Paul Tannis, age 23 of Maplewood, was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Both individuals were released on a summons.

On January 17, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to 305 Millburn Ave on a criminal mischief report. An unknown actor had thrown a brick paver and large stone through the front glass window. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 17, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Laverty responded to a Pilgrim Rd residence on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight, unknown actor/s entered her 2018 Maserati Levante and ransacked the interior. Nothing appears to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 17, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Wichelns responded to the Abercrombie store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Abercrombie personnel report 43 year old Leroy Holmes and 54 year old Mary Cobb of Newark removed the sensors on 3 items valued at $548.00, concealed them in a backpack, and left the store without making payment. Both individuals were placed under arrest and issued summonses for shoplifting. Mary Cobb was remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility on a warrant.

On January 18, 2019 Millburn Police responded to 305 Millburn Ave on a report of a fight. John Reino, age 54 of Roseland, was placed under arrest for assaulting an employee with a broom handle. Mr. Reino was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and criminal mischief before being remanded to Essex County Correctional Facility.

On January 19, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 20 year old Sabrina Bosworth of Union concealed 11 items valued at $235.50 in a bag and left the store without making payment. Ms. Bosworth was also found to have $186.10 worth of stolen merchandise from the Forever 21 store. Ms. Bosworth was charged with shoplifting and receiving stolen property and released with a summons.

On January 20, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report a black female wearing a pink hat, pink jacket, and black Adidas pants, along with a black male wearing all black with a yellow shirt sticking out of a black sweatshirt, and a black male wearing a gray hat, black/red/white jacket, black pants, and red sneakers cut the security cords on 8 purses valued at $6180.00 and ran out of the store with the merchandise. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 21, 2019 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to Nordstroms on a theft report. Nordstrom personnel report three black males described as 5’9”-6’ tall in their mid 20’s (2 of the actors wearing black sweatpants, one actor wearing white sweatpants) grabbed handfuls of merchandise and ran out of the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
