On January 29, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report a female with blue hair, later identified as 23 year old Sahirah Rasul of Brooklyn concealed 2 coats valued at $3900.00 and left the store without making payment. Ms. Rasul was stopped in a Nissan as it attempted to exit the mall. Further investigation led to the arrest of 24 year old Josthen Noboa of Brooklyn for shoplifting a coat valued at $850.00, and 49 year old John Burts of Brooklyn for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). All three individuals were released on a summons.

On January 30, 2019 at 12:48 am Millburn Police responded to Blue Mercury at 341 Millburn Ave on a burglary report. A passerby notified dispatch about a van parked outside Blue Mercury and 2 individuals committing a theft inside the store. The front glass door and a front window were found smashed out upon arrival. Unknown the value of the stolen property. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 30, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2006 Chrysler 300 on Millburn/Vauxhall for having tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of 40 year old Daryl Manigsaca of Hillside for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Manigsaca was issued a summons and released.

On January 30, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to a Chapel Hill Rd residence on a motor vehicle theft report. The victim reports between 5:05-5:10 pm unknown actor/s took his 2018 BMW X5D from the roadway. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 30, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to the Victoria Secrets store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Victoria Secrets personnel report 26 year old employee Ebony Miller of Maplewood had given $1426.50 worth of merchandise to friends between January 1-30, 2019. Ms. Miller was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On January 30, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer on Millburn/Vauxhall for failing to signal a turn. The investigation led to the arrest of 19 year old Giordan Acuna of Union for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Acuna was issued a summons and released.

On January 31, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report a black female wearing a black baseball cap and black jacket, a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and a black female wearing a black jacket and jeans took 8 pocketbooks valued at $5300.00 and left the store without making payment.  The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 31, 2019 Millburn Police responded to Essex/Main St on reports of 2 stolen vehicles. Victims report both vehicles, 2009 Mercedes Benz C300 and 2018 Mercedes CLA were warming up when taken. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On February 1, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2016 BMW 328I on JFK Pkwy near the mall for having tinted windows and a suspended registration. The investigation led to the arrest of 25 year old Richelly Martinez of the Bronx for shoplifting airpods from the Apple store valued at $318.00. Ms. Martinez was issued a summons and released.

On February 2, 2019 Millburn Police Lieutenant Ronceray stopped a 1998 BMW on South Orange/Brookside for having a brake light out. The investigation led to the arrest of 34 year old Changa Sutton of Orange for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Sutton was issued a summons and released.

On February 3, 2019 Millburn Police Officer McMillan responded to Church/Spring on a report of a suspicious vehicle. The investigation led to the arrest of 21 year old Jackson Miller of Maplewood for driving under the influence and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Miller was issued a summons and released.

On February 3, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lipke responded to a Park Rd residence on a motor vehicle theft report that occurred overnight. The resident reports unknown actor/s took his 2018 Honda CRV from the driveway, and entered his 2018 Honda Odyssey. Another Park Rd resident reports a burglary into his 2017 Volkswagen Touareg and 2016 Mazda CX3 in his driveway. Taken from the Volkswagen was $30.00 cash and a credit card. Both incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On February 4, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on theft report. Sephora personnel report 41 year old Adina Brown of Jersey City concealed 4 items valued at $177.00 and left the store without making payment. Jordan Canales, age 20 of Newark, was found to have an active criminal warrant from the Essex County Sheriffs Department. Both individuals were placed under arrest. Ms. Brown was charged with shoplifting and released on a summons. Ms. Canales was remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.
