MILLBURN, NJ — After a win over Nutley, it's on to the championship game for the Millburn Recreation Department's Fifth Grade Girls Travel Basketball team.

Millburn won 26-18 off of 14 points from Claire Balady, eight points from Victoria Zenoni and four points from Sydney Tavel. While this was just the first year for the fifth grade travel team, it was the first play-off game and third meeting with Nutley this season.

The first time we played them we won by 2, 2nd time we won in OT and last night we had a respectable 8 point win to get to the Championship game. Nutley is a great team!

Dinner also gave her thoughts on the win.

"This was an awesome season and a really fun experience for everyone," Dinner said in an email to TAPinto Milburn. "I am so excited for the girls and for the future of Millburn Girls Basketball as a whole. We are very excited to have made it to the Championship game, but win or lose these girls are already champions in my book."
