MILLBURN, NJ — It just was not in the cards last night for the Millers, as they fell to Mount Saint Dominic at home in the main gym, 43-29

Millburn's defense held the game close from the opening tip until the final minutes. However, Mount Saint Dominic was able to pull away, finishing more shots in a fourth quarter that saw them seal the deal.

For Millburn Head Coach Stacy Dinner, the team was much closer to a win than the scoreline might indicate. She laid out one key area the team needed to improve in.

"I think we actually moved the ball well in the second half," Dinner said. "I think we were finding open people. I would love for us to catch and shoot a little quicker, because I think when we do shoot, I think good things happen. So we just need to move the ball and find those open people."

However, she also praised her team for their dedication to the craft and the way they throw themselves into everything they do.

"This is probably one of the most hardworking teams I've ever coached," Dinner said. "Their attitude is amazing. They have no quit in them.I told them I will never quit on them, and I know that they won't ever quit on us, so we're going to keep fighting all season long."

Millburn will take the floor today against for a road contest against Madison. Tip off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
