WEST ORANGE, NJ — The first matchup between these two teams ended with a thrilling come-from-behind win for Millburn.

However, it was Oratory Prep who responded in round two, squeaking by the Millers by a 3-2 score. Millburn received goals from Vladislav Ragozin (first period) and Ben Hayum (second period) in the loss.

Millburn Head Coach Brandon Doria offered his thoughts post game. He said that the team's work ethic was good, but that the little mistakes have tended to compound themselves this season and lead to certain losses.

"I don't think we're doing anything wrong," Doria said. "The main thing is we're just having a couple breakdowns. We've gotta minimize our mistakes. Unfortunately when we make a mistake nowadays it ends up in the back of our net. So just try to minimize them as best we can, and get healthy."

Doria continued, "We have a lot of guys that are hurt and just trying to get back...we had 12 guys in the bench today, so that's a short hockey team. But we have a little bit of a break, so hopefully some of the boys get healthy. But overall, I don't think we're doing that many things wrong, I just think like I said, when we do them wrong, it ends up hurting us."

Millburn will take the ice next on Jan. 5, 2020, when they face off against Scotch Plains. Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
