4th Grade Boys

Colonels – 33        Wizards – 18
The Colonels battled to a 33-18 win over the Wizards Friday night at Wyoming School. Hunter Rabinowitz scored 7 points, had 5 rebounds and dished out 4 assists for the Colonels.  Ben Goldstein had 11 points, Wes Bersh had 7 points and Max Mazur and Oliver La Londe each threw in 4 points in the win for the Colonels.  Chris O’Malley’s 8 rebounds, Dante Clark’s 2 steals, and Daniel Mehdi’s 2 steals led the Colonels on defense. Aryav Bhandari led the Wizards scoring with 8 points, while Teddy Chernansky and Noah Shidlovsky were fierce on defense, drawing fouls and grabbing rebounds all night.

Jazz – 24                Pacers – 18
Shane Dorum and Aarav Lakhani each scored 10 points for the Jazz in their 24-18 win over the Pacers in the season opener Friday at Wyoming School.  Solid defense and rebounding from Ajay Tolia and Bo Ren Chen rounded out play on the other end of the court.

6th Grade Boys

Nuggets – 31        Raptors – 29
The Saturday afternoon Wyoming games were highlighted by the Nuggets’ overcoming an 18 point halftime deficit to defeat the Raptors 31-29. Abdur Ismail, Justin Redlich and Jack Rosten hit multiple 3-pointers with Arik Zhang contributing clutch shots in the paint. Adam Rubin, Seth Eilenberg, and Evan Daniels delivered solid defense in the Nuggets’ win.
