ESSEX COUNTY, NJ - The Super Essex Conference earlier this month approved the realignment of its divisions for the 2020 baseball and softball seasons.

Divisions are revised annually based upon competitive level.

In baseball, the American Division will replace Columbia with Bloomfield. Columbia will move down to the Liberty Division, with Bloomfield going from the Liberty to the American. The rest of the American Division will remain intact. Caldwell will remain in the Liberty Division in 2020.

In softball, Livingston and Columbia will be moving up from the Liberty to the American Division next year, West Orange will move down from the Liberty to the Colonial Division, and Caldwell will move down from the American to the Liberty Division. West Essex will remain in the American Division.


AMERICAN DIVISION: Seton Hall Prep, Nutley, Bloomfield, Millburn, Montclair, Livingston, West Essex
LIBERTY DIVISION: Caldwell, West Orange, Verona, Belleville, Cedar Grove, Verona, Newark Academy


AMERICAN DIVISION: Livingston, West Essex, Columbia, Mount St. Dominic, Cedar Grove, Nutley, Verona
LIBERTY DIVISION: Caldwell, Montclair, Bloomfield, Belleville, Millburn, Montclair-Kimberley Academy, Payne Tech
