SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Beyond Justice has organized a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest to be held on Friday, June 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Spotswood High School. The Beyond Justice Protest will include speakers from the community, meditation and a moment of silence. It was organized by a Spotswood High School alumnus.

Final details for tomorrow's event were not finalized until late Thursday afternoon according to Spotswood Police Chief Dr. Michael Zarro. Since the rally is being held on the grounds of Spotswood High School, approval from the Spotswood Board of Education was needed and it was not received until 3:30 p.m.

Any necessary road closures and times will be announced by the Spotswood Police Department on Friday via a Nixle advisory.
