Joyce Kilmer School will remain open on a normal school schedule. All activities scheduled for Parkview this week are cancelled. School will be open for a half-day session on Wednesday, Sept. 11 and Thursday, Sept. 12 at Our Lady of Lourdes School in Milltown. Students should be dropped off at the Booream Avenue entrance. Parkview will remain closed on Friday according to the original school calendar.

Morning and afternoon SACC will be relocated to Our Lady of Lourdes in the cafeteria and will follow the regular SACC early dismissal schedule. Please remember to pack a lunch and extra snack for all SACC children. This information will be followed up in an eblast and a second call will also follow.

The school has arranged supervision for a limited number of students at Our Lady of Lourdes on Monday and Tuesday. Email Mrs. Ferlazzo at Janfer@aol.com and in the subject area indicate “Emergency Childcare”,  so the school can have an estimate of how many students to expect for emergency child care. If you are coming for emergency child care on Monday and Tuesday, you will need to send your child with a lunch and snack.

More details regarding this closing can be accessed on the link below and will be addressed at the BOE meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Again, this closing is only impacting Parkview students, and NOT Joyce Kilmer students.

The Alternative Press of Milltown/Spotswood will provide regular updates as provided

UPDATE Monday Sept. 9, 11:20AM -

Parent drop-off traffic should take Van Liew to Lawrence to Booream.
