SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Get into the holiday spirit on Sunday, December 10 at 4 p.m. at the Spotswood High School Cafetorium with a special Holiday Concert by the Central Jersey Wind Ensemble. Tickets are $10 and $7 for students and seniors. All of the proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of timpani gauges for Spotswood High School music program.

The Central Jersey Wind Ensemble was founded in 1993 by conductor Nicholas Santoro who is a Milltown native. It is a professional organization made up of musicians throughout New Jersey. Many members are music educators while others have professional careers in other areas. Some musicians are retired. All share a profound love of music. Santoro is also a retired music educator and arts supervisor, working in education for more than 37 years. The Central Jersey Wind Ensemble performed a Salute to Sinatra benefit concert in the spring of 2016, which was extremely well-received. They also showcased their music skills at a holiday concert last December.

In addition to the regular members of the Central Jersey Wind Ensemble, members from the Spotswood High School's Wind Ensemble will be performing in the concert as well. The Wind Ensemble is an honors class within the high school's music program. Students must audition to be a part of the Honors Wind Ensemble.

Tickets will be sold at the door on the afternoon of the performance. Spotswood High School is located at 105 Summerhill Road.
