SPOTSWOOD, NJ - One of the joys of the holiday season is of course, cookies and on Sunday, December 6, Cub Scout Pack 35 is hosting a Cookie Walk at Immaculate Conception School on Manalapan Road.

A delicious array of cookies will be set up outside the cafeteria from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. There will be dozens of delectable varieties to choose from. All of the proceeds from the event go to support Cub Scout Pack 35 in all the special activites they participate in throughout the year.

Another way to support the endeavors of the local cub scout pack is through an ongoing fundraiser at five Below. Ten percent of any purchases made at the Route 18 store between now and December 20 will be donated to Cub Scout Pack 35. However, in order for the donation to be made, participants must present the accompanying flyer to the cashier.

Cub Scout Pack 35 has been in existence since 2008. They welcome members from Spotswood, Helmetta, Monroe and East Brunswick. The Pack performs numerous community service projects throughout the year. Meetings are held on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Spotswood on 30 Crescent Avenue.
